The beautiful tradition of Support Staff Appreciation at EtonHouse International School Sentosa begins with an investigation of our support staff community by a group of children - honouring the incredible individuals who keep our school operations running smoothly. We proudly continue this practice with the rest of the school community, coming together to express appreciation through heartfelt memos and hampers, sharing stories and learning fun facts about them (like Mr Andi is a Manchester United fan). Learning the Japanese language at EtonHouse goes beyond language acquisition. It is an immersive experience that celebrates the rich culture of Japan. In line with Japanese Children's Day, our learners embrace traditions of the celebration by decking classrooms with colourful koinobori (carp streamers) and kabuto (samurai helmet replicas), symbolising strength, bravery, and independence - traits that we hope they will embody. On World Book Day, our young readers transformed into beloved storybook characters, bringing life to stories through imaginative play, dramatization, and dance. The campus was buzzing with excitement as our community engaged in rich multi-sensory explorations and collaborative engagements. They even got to hop aboard the visiting Molly bus by the National Library Board, which was filled with a treasure trove of books.
