Chief Learning Officer Tanya Sarin led 200 preschool educators in Singapore through an engaging workshop focused on cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset in young children. We commend Singapore’s dedication to implementing STEMIE (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Invention, and Entrepreneurship). STEMIE envisions a future where every child in Singapore can pursue their natural curiosity, invent creative solutions to problems, and be inspired to reach their highest level of personal achievement. Education is truly undergoing a paradigm change and it’s heartening to be a part of that change. TANYA SARIN Swati Gauba Analia Tan Lydia Ang Avil Porwal Samhita Sarkar Sharma Roshnee Bhurtun
"Too often we give our children answers to remember rather than problems to solve." - Roger Lewin But that is changing. Thanks to our educators who are striving to make education more practical, more meaningful and more application based for their students. The role of educators is evolving from a 1D (Delivering knowledge) to a more well-rounded 3D approach of - 'Designing' safe learning environments, 'Discovering' unique strengths of each student and 'Driving' curiosity & creativity in each child from an early age. We got an opportunity to speak to and train ~200 preschool teachers on 'Cultivating Entrepreneurial Mindsets in Preschoolers' and I was amazed to see the enthusiasm among educators on the topic. It was a privilege to be among such a creative and happy bunch of individuals, and to play a small role in empowering them with tools to bring entrepreneurship education and building an entrepreneurial mindset within their classrooms. #stemie #earlyentrepreneurshipeducation Thanks Muhammad Bin Kamit for the opportunity!
