🐝 These first ‘residents’ of The Quarry are buzzing! The Quarry in Keperra, #Australia is Frasers Property’s new $500 million masterplanned community and also home to these new settlers. 🍯 An estimated 240,000 honey bees now call The Quarry home, where they produce sweet honey for the broader community to enjoy. More than 300kg of honey has already been extracted into jars and shared with residents and the local community. Bees play an important role in maintaining biodiversity. As pollinators, bees contribute to the growth of floral and fauna in the local region. These special residents also represent part of our commitment towards the regeneration of The Quarry site, where more than 100,000 plants will be planted over the coming years. At ClubQ, our expansive amenity hub at The Quarry, we recently ran our inaugural School Holiday Programme which included beeswax candle crafting and an educational session to share more on the importance of bees in biodiversity. Located 9.5 kilometres north-west from Brisbane’s CBD, The Quarry will comprise a mix of approximately 500 new residential land lots and terrace homes upon completion. 🤝🏻  We recently marked six years of partnership with The Food Bank Singapore with a food bundle distribution to 1,000 households in Northern, Central and Eastern #Singapore. Over 200 volunteers including our Singapore teams and tenant partners from Toys R Us, Starbucks Singapore, BreadTalk Group Pte Ltd and Harvey Norman joined forces to pack and distribute care packages comprising daily necessities for our beneficiaries. These are part of broader island-wide efforts at address food security concerns among lesser privileged families. In communities where we operate, we tap on our multi-market experience and expertise in real estate to collectively discover and implement solutions alongside our partners in support of initiatives that align with our Community Investment objectives. In addition to our rally of tenants and employees to distribute food bundles, we also have dedicated spaces in our malls to collect food donations for the needy. Frasers Property has released its 1HFY24 results this evening with attributable profit for the half year at S$57.4 million. Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Frasers Property, commented, “Continual market headwinds have created ongoing challenges for us, which are reflected in these results. To become more resilient through market cycles, our three key focus areas are – the disciplined and consistent unlocking of value, increasing development exposure over the medium to long term, as well as strengthening the resilience of the Group’s recurring income streams. Through the Group’s disciplined and consistent efforts to unlock value, in 1H FY24 we executed capital recycling transactions totalling S$1.1 billion.” With a geographically diversified portfolio of S$48.9 billion assets under management as at 31 March 2024, and a disciplined focus on market fundamentals, the Group is in good stead to remain stable as it navigates external headwinds. Despite macroeconomic uncertainties and market volatility, we have maintained a high portfolio occupancy of 94.3% with overall positive rental reversions across asset classes. With our healthy capital position, we will maintain our focus on seeking opportunities for investing in logistics & industrial assets.
