“It’s the positive vibes for me,” says Damian Wrigley, Senior Sales Manager (Sydney). In his five years at JustCo, Damian has had the pleasure of hosting inspiring figures like Australian Paralympian and Gold Medalist, Andrew Edmonson and Mental Health Advocate and Award-Winning Author Sophie Scott OAM at 135 King Street. But when he doesn’t have special guests over, Damian is hard at work (with plenty of laughs in between) with his Sydney team. “Everyone works hard but we never forget to take a moment and socialise as a team too,” adds Damian. Among the many eye-opening events, one of his favourites is the Leadership Programme which he attended at the JustCo HQ in 2022. It was his first time meeting teams from Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and South Korea, but each story was uniquely uplifting. And that’s what he loves most about JustCo – the positivity around him. - JustCo Australia achieved the Great Place to Work award for another year and quite recently, the team opened up 276 Flinders Street to pets. Navigating the ever-changing landscape of work can be unsettling, but it also presents exciting opportunities for transformation and innovation. JustCo's Chief People Officer, Michelle Lee, an experienced #HR veteran with over two decades of experience was invited by Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI) to share her insights on leading organisation transformations. The session, held at JustCo's headquarters at The Centrepoint, was attended by HR professionals participating in the HR Leaders Programme organised by HCLI. This marks the fourth sharing by Michelle to aspiring HR leaders attending the #leadership programme. At JustCo, we are also celebrating the super sheroes amongst our community. To mark this heartwarming occasion, we prepared carnations and scented soaps for our Taiwan members. Along with these thoughtful gifts, members also wrote heartfelt appreciation notes on handmade cards to their super sheroes. As a #coworking operator, we want to do our part to foster an #inclusive work culture where everyone, including working mums, can thrive. The global momentum towards supporting #flexiblework arrangements (FWA), for instance, as shown by Singapore's upcoming tripartite guidelines to fairly consider FWA requests, presents an opportunity for us to create a more inclusive workplace for all professionals, including working parents. "I've been blessed with plenty of opportunities to grow and develop at JustCo," says Nayeon Lee, Assistant Manager of the Community Team in South Korea. In the last four years, Nayeon has gone from front desk service, event coordination and leading a team to logistics and operations. And at the end of last year, she was specially selected for a three-month exchange to Singapore to experience first-hand the opening of a new centre at International Plaza. “It gives me great satisfaction to be able to add value to members’ professional growth – whether it’s providing a conducive space for learning, or hosting educational events and networking sessions,” adds Nayeon. Just a few weeks ago, she organised the inaugural Just Learn event at JustCo Tower. The sessions, which covers UI/UX design, was well-received by members. - JustCo Korea is also a recipient of the Great Place to Work award. “JustCo services businesses and individuals from different industries, and it’s this diversity that has helped me widened my perspective,” says Thipparat Chiewcharnsuwan or more dearly known to her colleagues as Gift. Being part of the organising team of the recent Future of Work Forum at One City Centre has also helped her develop a more outward mindset. The Senior Marketing Manager (Thailand) adds: “Having to work with other departments and hearing different viewpoints from business leaders have certainly broadened my outlook on matters beyond marketing.” This May, Gift, Wimolnit Lertpitakkit and the rest of the JustCo Thailand team will be kickstarting a donation drive for the underprivileged elderlies of Waiwattananiward Foundation. “It’s always nice to be able to give back and connect with the larger community whether it’s through JustCo events or external partnerships.
