    #Lazada Singapore had the pleasure of hosting Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS) Chief Executive Alvin Koh, Assistant Chief Executive (Economics, Policy and Data) Ng Ee Kia and CCCS colleagues at #LazadaOne. We were pleased to share about our various consumer protection policies, including our ‘easy and free’ return policy – which covers Change of Mind returns and an up to 30 days return window period, as well as our seller-facing policies to guide sellers in managing their online business on our platform. Both sides also had a good discussion on how Lazada and CCCS can continue to build a trusted marketplace and promote consumers’ faith in online transactions.     We are pleased to share that #Lazada Singapore has received the The American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmCham Singapore) CARES Distinction Award in recognition of our commitment to corporate and social excellence by conducting business in a way that creates both long-term economic and social value and impact in Singapore. This is testament to our efforts in giving back to the community where we can, and to support various meaningful initiatives which has also gone a long way in helping to strengthen community building. For example, since its founding, RedMart has been donating fresh produce weekly to various charity organisations, including Jalan Besar Community Club – in support of their Love Connect Fresh Market initiative to relieve cost-of-living pressures. We have also partnered with the People's Association to support their various events, including their International Coastal Clean-Up Day which saw over 250 residents, partners and oil-spill workers coming together, and most recently – their healthy and active lifestyle event which saw approximately 1,500 residents in attendance. Our commitment to empowering communities goes beyond Singapore. Across Southeast Asia, we continue to provide economic opportunities to approximately 1 million stakeholders within the digital commerce industry, and endeavor to deliver socioeconomic impact by providing the necessary jobs, services and capacity-building across our network and support economic development across the region (FY24 ESG Report).
