About us
We offer a comprehensive array of more than 20 internal and external modular systems, suitable for use as advertising panels, lightboxes, architectural signs, directional signs, directories and landmark signs. Apart from these sign systems, the company also provides design and custom-built capabilities using high-end techniques such as injection-moulding or vacuum-forming methodology to design and fabricate POP and merchandising display/stands, rostrums, kiosks, street furniture, vehicle rooftop panels and other innovative solutions to meet clients’ special requirements. Our rigorous design methodology, state-of-the-art products and clever use of technology and production methodologies have won us numerous awards and accolades from clients, many of whom are market leaders in their respective industries. Starting 2016, we have also expanded our business portfolio towards digitalisation. We now specialise in audio visual technology on both hardware and software platforms.

A sanctuary for nature lovers, ORTO is lush greenery located at the northern part of Singapore. It is the country’s first multi-recreational park that is open 24 hours a day, catering to all-day and night activities such as prawning and fishing. Formerly known as Bottle Tree Park, ORTO has been revamped and refurbished but yet retaining its old kampong charms and rustic feel. One more piece of good news to close out 2024! 🎉 We are thrilled to share that our Phase 3 fab in Singapore has obtained the Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP). This milestone allows us to begin the process of "moving in" and brings us one step closer to the official opening of this brand-new state-of-the art facility. The TOP, granted by the Building and Construction Authority, marks a significant achievement following our first tool move-in in May. We will be gearing up for pilot production at the new facility, which will be one of the most advanced fabs in Singapore, manufacturing chips that power smartphones, cars, and much more. With a design capacity of 30,000 wafers per month, the Phase 3 fab significantly expands UMC’s footprint in Singapore and is set to generate numerous high-value jobs locally.
