Most notably from our conversation, we asked what he feels a common misconception about his role is and loved his answer: "Sales is often associated with the pushy salesperson people try to avoid. However, in our industry, it's about building long-term partnerships, sometimes taking years before someone becomes a client. Sales has evolved into a consultative approach where we genuinely care about the needs of those we’re working with. Given the size of the investment, we don’t want to waste a potential partner’s time—or our own—so deals aren’t forced. Instead, it’s about finding the right partners whose specific needs align with what our platform can solve." When not helping financial institutions unlock their data potential, Jake's remodeling his house (he built a sauna!), exploring new countries, or hiking with friends.
