We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jayaprakash Thiyagarajan (Jay) as Chief Legal and Government Relations Officer, with effect from 1 June 2025. Jay has been with Prudential Assurance Company Singapore (PACS) since 2018. He was previously the Head of Legal and Ethics, and held additional Group Legal responsibilities where he was instrumental in creating business-friendly strategies across agency, bancassurance, product, investment management and financial advisory. In his new expanded role, Jay will oversee the Government Relations function across PACS and Prudential Group in Singapore. He will work closely with stakeholders to engage with key government ministries and regulatory bodies in critical areas of insurance, health and sustainability.

We’ve got all these topics and more covered in the early childhood nutrition programme, Healthy with KidSTART. Through the programme, a partnership with non-profit organisation KidSTART Singapore, Prudential has been helping families across Singapore build healthy eating habits. Our beneficiaries are provided with hands-on tips and tools together with monthly deliveries of fresh produce so that they can give their young children a good foundation as they grow. In celebration of the programme’s fifth anniversary, we brought our beneficiaries out for a morning of fun, food and frolic.
