The company’s name Hasutomi is derived from “hasu”, a Japanese word for the lotus flower. Lotus has been long regarded as a sacred flower which is a symbol of purity, light and hope.
Lotus flower emerges as pure white or pink flower from the depths of the muddy swamp and grows above murky water.
We at Hasutomi strive in the same spirit as “hasu”, to bring the best quality of black garlic to the people in the most pure and natural form.
