On Filezilla 1. Download the latest WordPress version from wordpress.org on your browser 2. Connect using Host: Domain.com (or the IP) and username and password same as those used in domain/cpanel (e.g. kewlodge / qwerty_123) 3. Go to public_html 4. Unzip and upload all the files and folders from WordPress. On Cpanel: (Domain.com/cpanel) 1. Go to the cpanel (e.g. 207.7.86.36/cpanel or ratings.sg/cpanel) and login with the first 8 characters of the domain name (e.g. ratings) and password: qwerty_123 or qwerty_123!@# 2. Go to 'Email Accounts'. Create these email addresses: webmaster@domain.com, admin@domain.com. Click 'Generate Password', generate a random password from the system. Leave the mailbox quota at the default 250mb. 3. Go back to 'Home', then to 'Forwarders'. 4. Click 'Add Forwarder' 5. Address to Forward: admin@domain.com and webmaster@domain.com. Forward to email address: james@j2media.com.sg 6. Go to 'Home', find 'MySQL Database Wizard'. 7. Create a new database, type 'sitedomainname' (e.g. siteartgallery). 8. Create username, type 'sitedom' (or, e.g., siteart). 9. Generate a password. Click on 'Advanced Options', and change length to 18 then generate password. Copy this password into a text file and save it. 10. Add all privileges. 11. Save the database username, password and database name into the wp-config.php file. Default wordpress file is wp-config-sample.php in which you need to rename the file to wp-config.php
